Get in the holiday spirit with this fun, one-day workshop! Students will learn letterpress typesetting techniques to design and print a set of twenty 5”x 7” folded letterpress cards with a custom greeting of your choosing. 

Enjoy learning something new or refining your letterpress skills to create something special to send to everyone on your mailing list.

Cost of workshop includes materials, instruction by S-R staff and takeaway prints. Paper in this workshop is from French Paper Company, a small Michigan Paper Mill around for more than 140 years.

Laura Beyer is an artist specializing in printmaking and book arts. She graduated with her BFA from Albion College and her MFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Laura’s artwork has been collected by colleges & universities, private collections as well as the Detroit Institute of Art. Her letterpress business, Hearty Greetings, uses the long tradition of print along with the modern possibilities of design to produce artisanal goods for special occasions or everyday use.
